Toastmasters International is an organization that is dedicated assisting individuals to become public speakers and leaders. This is accomplished through a series of local clubs throughout the world. Toastmasters clubs offer a safe environment in which you can practice the speaking skills that you are learning and be exposed to new skills. I highly recommend investigating a Toastmasters club near you. To find out more about Toastmasters International you can visit their website at http://www.toastmasters.org. Among the wealth of information that they have at their site, you can perform a search to find a local club. In addition, here are some clubs that I am aware of. AustraliaNew South Wales Location:

Description:
Professional Speakers has a "serious about better
speaking" attitude balanced with a lot of humour and light-hearted banter.
Queensland Brisbane Location:

the Toastmasters meeting room at reception
Schedule:
1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, at 7.30pm
Description:
We are a club which believes that public speaking
should be fun, and so our meetings usually resound with laughter. A
number of experienced toastmasters are available to help and inspire,
and our mentoring programme is designed to help the truly nervous. Come

Description:
Our Club is an advanced Club. We love welcoming
guests and visitors to our monthly dinner meetings. To be a member,
you need to have reached your CC (CTM) status or above, however you
are most welcome to join us for dinner at any time as a guest. Bookings
are essential for catering purposes.

The Mililani Toastmaster Club has been one of
the most successful clubs in Hawaii throughout its 23 years of existence.
Founded by a handfull of men and women in June, 1983, we are currently
the fastest growing club in Hawaii. Many of our members have been
Toastmasters District Officers and, with our other members, are very
dedicated to making our Club successful and to helping steer other
Clubs to success. We are also a group of people focused on improving
our own communication and leadership abilities and who know that,
to do this, we must assist others in achieving their similar goals.
We are a diverse group of people from different backgrounds and of
different careers. We have enjoyable, informative, fun meetings. That's
what makes us one of the strongest and best Toastmasters clubs in
